OneClickRENO: working to ensure that building renovation in the EU is 100% sustainable

Area

Client

European Union

Year

2023 - 2026

Impact

To ensure that the current park of EU buildings is as sustainable as possible from 2050.

How to ensure that EU buildings are sustainable by 2050?

The project, funded by the European Union, aims to develop a building renovation passport that facilitates the transition towards sustainable renovation. This initiative aligns with the European Commission's goal for 2050, which seeks to ensure that all buildings in the Member States meet the highest sustainability standards.

The main purpose of the project is to provide users with a tool that allows them to plan and decide on the steps to take in renovating a building, defining a personalised roadmap that adapts to their needs over time. This project arises in response to the lack of a proven public tool applicable in different contexts across the entire European Union, a gap that currently hinders progress towards more sustainable building renovations.

The project consortium is formed by partners from seven countries and includes the implementation of five pilot projects in Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, and Greece.
