Year

2024 - 2027

Impact

Involving vulnerable communities and biodiversity in the design, creation, and interaction with urban spaces.

How can we regenerate urban spaces collaboratively and inclusively for everyone?

Project funded by the EU as part of two missions of the European Union: Climate Mission and Cities Mission, aimed at transforming urban spaces through nature-based solutions and technological applications, focusing on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and green architectural solutions.

The protagonists of the project are two: the communities and residents, with a special focus on vulnerable groups, young people, and the elderly, as well as non-human species such as animals and flora. In this way, data-driven innovation and digital twins are fused with neuroscience to co-create a sustainable and inclusive future for the entire ecosystem.

The implementation of the project will take place in five pilot cities: Barcelona, Prato, Nova Gorica, Athens, and Helsinki. Additionally, Pecs, Reykjavik, Cork, Matosinhos, Hersonisos, and Birstonas become the follower cities that will model the pilot projects.
