How to preserve the cultural and archaeological heritage of Guatemala and Argentina at an international level through a tourist marketing plan?

Javi Creus, founder of Ideas for Change, participated in the design of the tourist product 'Maya Route' with the collaboration of National Geographic and the governments of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Belize, and Mexico, as well as in the tourist marketing plan for Guatemala and Argentina.

The result was presented during the forum titled 'Cultural Heroes: Saving the Past', as part of NatGeo's video program and driven by the National Geographic Society, which took place in Washington, D.C. on May 14, 2014. Fernando Paiz, President of the Maya Route Foundation, was able to share his ideas as well as the role that the Maya Route Foundation plays as the only organization in the region managing and carrying out the repatriation of archaeological pieces.
