Area

Communication and Consulting

Client

Project funded by the European Commission

Year

2020 - 2021

Impact

Promote the adoption of Digital Ledger Technology to address challenges faced by public sector in the social and environmental fields.

How can we connect European entrepreneurs in blockchain with local public institutions to address relevant issues?

The programme DLT4EU was a project funded by the European Commission that promoted the adoption of DLT (Digital Ledger Technology) solutions to tackle challenges faced by the public sector in social and environmental areas, which we advanced in collaboration with Ideas for Change, Metabolic, and Digital Catapult.

The initiative addressed a pioneering acceleration programme to help companies and organisations integrate blockchain into circular economy and digital citizenship challenges. This process facilitated the acceleration of the application of this technology to solve social and environmental challenges.

Our role

Our role

  • Ideation, development and testing of a novel public-private collaboration model that was named 'Virtual Field Lab', in line with the sandboxes that have recently emerged in state normative texts and municipal ordinances.

These spaces allowed developers to solve real challenges posed by public administrations and philanthropic institutions.

  • Mentoring program using the Pentagrowth methodology.

  • Training sessions, support and guidance throughout the nearly eight-month incubator.

  • Communication and dissemination strategies that culminated in a final event held 100% online with over 400 views.
