Impact

Documentary series about the use of data in our daily lives.

How will the massive use of data shape our future?

How will our society change due to the massive use of data? What will materials, supply chains, work, or democracy look like in the future? If data is the new fuel, what can we do with it and how can we participate in the creation and distribution of the wealth it produces?

To try to answer these questions, we launched the #DataFutures series alongside El País Retina. An audiovisual series consisting of 13 episodes through which we explore the transformative impact of data in different areas: democracy, work, education, social impact, journalism and news, economy, health, materials, digital manufacturing, food, urbanization, and mobility.

The aim of #DataFutures is to shed light on data initiatives that are currently being developed and that have the capacity to create desirable futures where data and citizenship play a leading role. Through this series, we want to inspire #CoolFutures at the intersection of data, technology, and society.
